At least, that what More Than Most think.

Hailing from London and formed in 2014, ‘More Than Most’ are a fresh and eclectic five-some originating from everywhere across the globe. The crew include Leandro Leonardi (guitar) who moved from Brazil to England to pursue music, Mok Saib (bass) who journeyed from Algeria, and Cole Solem (drums) who arrived from the USA. Izzy Stylez (vocals) and Daniel Allan (guitar) are the only original UK based members. With a melting pot of influences and life experiences, ‘More Than Most’ harness their diversity and draw it down to their music. The result is both utterly compelling and all consuming.

The electronic alt-rockers hit the ground running and played their first ever showat the start of this year – a sold out O2 Academy Islington 2 Show, supporting ‘Dirt’. From this point, the quintet haven’t looked back. They now have a legion of active followers and have bagged slots at Takedown Festival and Camden Rocks Festival, sharing the stage with the likes of Mallory Knox, Charlie Simpson, The Blackout, Bullet For My Valentine, Skindred, Funeral For A Friend, Finch and While She Sleeps. More Than Most have since gone on to sell-out another O2 Academy show, as well as playing a batch of successful shows throughout the South. Besides tirelessly working on their live set, the energetic rocksters put out two videos ‘Feed The Fire’ and ‘You’re Not Alone’, both cuts notching up extensive TV airplay with Scuzz. They have also completed work on their debut EP ‘Impossible is Temporary’, with esteemed producer Justin Hill (Young Guns, Heart Of A Coward).

‘Impossible Is Temporary’ is a superb debut from a band that undoubtedly have a long career ahead of them. Their previous single, ‘You’re Not Alone’, instantly drags you in, beginning the EP in glorious fashion with its mammoth hook and inventive electronic passages, which reinforce the belief that there’s something special about this band. ‘Remember Who You Are’ then washes over with shout-out refrains and high octane beatings that reflect MCR in their prime. While ‘Save Me From Myself’ glistens with shimmering vocal lines backed by considered structuring and appealing subtleties. Their forthcoming video single ‘Nightmares’ spectacularly completes the EP, as it explodes with pounding rhythms and a crunching contagious chorus. More Than Most have arrived.
