Hear a new track from Finland’s newest melancholy mob
Reveries End is a Female fronted melancholic metal band founded in the spring of 2011 in Tampere, Finland.
The band say they deal in “Heavy music with hauntingly beautiful melodies reflecting the sadness and beauty of decaying human life, while the lyrics take the listener on a journey through melancholic and desolate landscapes surrounded by dark dreamlike visions rising from the depths of the subconscious.”

The album was recorded together with Markus Heinonen at Transcendental Studio and D-Studio.
Heinonen, mixed by Tuomas Kokko at Electric Fox Studios and mastered by Jaakko Viitalдhde (Virtalдhde Mastering).
The eight songs chosen for Edge of Dark Waters showcase the band’s versatile but coherent sound.
Influenced by wide range of styles and great bands like Katatonia and Ghost Brigade the music dives deeper into harmonic layers, dynamic structures and progressive elements, not forgetting catchy and straight-forward riffs while singer Sariina’s varied and captivating vocal delivery wraps it all together.
