Crashing Into The Inner Sanctum

Indian thrash kings are back

Fresh from their feature performance at the prestigious Inferno Metal Festival at Oslo, Norway, death/thrash metal heavy weights Inner Sanctum from Bangalore, India shall be releasing their much awaited album ‘Legions Awake’ worldwide on April 26, 2015.
The band is hosting an exclusive album launch gig at Counter Culture, Bangalore on April 26, 2015, in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut. The album launch will be supported by metal bands Demonic Resurrection (Mumbai) and Plague Throat (Shillong).

The follow up to the critically acclaimed EP ‘Provenance’, ‘Legions Awake’ promises to deliver to the listener the trademark Inner Sanctum sound, melodic, groovy and inherently crushing with tracks that are potential metal anthems such as Realms of Oblivion, March of the Wounded, Guardian, to name a few.

There are a raft of legendary guests on the record. The track ‘Existence Denied’ features a collaboration of epic proportions between Inner Sanctum and three legendary metal guitarists namely Christopher Amott (Armageddon, Ex-Arch Enemy), Daniel Mongrain (Voivod, Martyr, Ex-Gorguts, Ex- Cryptopsy, Capharnaum) & James Murphy (Ex- Death, Ex-Testament, Ex-Obituary, Ex-Lazarus A.D.) who are involved in a unique solo trade off.
The album also features orchestral arrangements by Roman Ruminski from Acherontic Dawn.
