Garry finds something to warm him in the freezing cold Black Country
In the current world of chaos and uncertainty, sometimes an hour of calmness goes a long way and with the wonderful debut album ‘Magnified’ The Beatrix Players deliver that perfectly.
On a freezing cold Sunday evening in February the Beatrix Players delivered a fabulous set highlighting their many talents to a very appreciative audience with a captivating 30 minute set.
For fans of the aforementioned ‘Magnified’ album the songs performed tonight such as ‘Never Again’, ‘Roses’ and the stunning ‘Rushlight’, the Ladies magnificent cover of ‘Hurt’ along with new song ‘Remains Of The Day’ all made for a mighty fine but all too short set.
The Beatrix Players Amy, Amanda & Jess were joined by violinist Maria for much of the set tonight and if you like your music stripped down and played in its most honest form you will have to go a long way to find it bettered.
The first time I saw the Beatrix Players play live was at last years Prog Rock Awards for a three song set, tonight was a 30 minute set……I personally can’t wait for the next time and maybe a full blown headline set.
