Described as an innovative duo who’s intense harmonies resonate straight from their open hearts, I Talk To Strangers is pushing the boundaries of what it is to communicate through music and performance.

“I Talk to Strangers” originally started off as a not-for-profit social movement created by the bands friend David Blackwell in order to fight inter-personal fear culture and prejudice through diversity and sincerity. The idea was simple, when you saw someone wearing one of the bracelets or badges, you knew that you could go over to that person and say ‘Hi’ and expect them to say ‘Hello, how are you?’. In essence making London a more communicative hub for people to meet.

There were social events set up all across the Camden area in which people would go to literally meet strangers. When the organisation went through a few name changes and settled on “We Speak Freely” David gave the rights to “I Talk to Strangers” to Alex and Georgina and the group are now named so. The band are are now working in conjunction with the movement to make their shows into socials too.
