Tom Killner who straddles the line between genres with soulfully infused blues, southern rock, country, and americana releases his heartfelt and touching single ‘Only You‘. The softly spoken and affable Rotherham UK born award-winning powerhouse vocalist and guitarist opens up, “It’s a love song and a dedication to those and the things in our lives that mean so much on a deep level. It’s important to feel connections, to have an appreciation for them, I hope folk can feel that in the lyrics.”
The track is taken from the new album ‘Borrowed Time‘ on CD and vinyl available direct from Tom HERE which received rave reviews including; “A real testament to how great this release is. The 10 track collection bears an overarching story and is truly that of a modern day troubadour and to be aurally enveloped in a single sitting each listen, “I’ve always been around music from an early age and I really wanted to tell stories of characters you meet in life, relationships both good and bad, and of events and emotions that have moved or affected me in some way. I partly used that as a catalyst to create and to relate to all.” The album features the esteemed Sam Wood (Black Star Riders, Wayward Sons) on pedal steel and backing vocals are breathed throughout by the acclaimed musician Oli Brown and highly talented Kier with co-production/mixing and mastering handled by the much in-demand Wayne Proctor at his House of Tone Studios (King King, Aynsley Lister, Ben Poole).
Winning over audiences across the UK and Europe with their highly dynamic show, Tom and the band throw down a memorable showcase of guitar slinging, emotional and hell-raising songs upon each occasion. 2024 has been Tom’s busiest year to date with highlights touring in Spain, playing the world famous 100 Club London, Call of The Wild Festival, NWOCR Festival to rapturous receptions and co-headline tours with US bands Hush Money and Preacher Stone garnering stellar reviews and he heads out again this winter. “It’s been a fantastic year with the album release, I’m really grateful.
