Viking metal, Bathory and Folk all mix as Isenmor release new one

The music of Vinlanders ISENMOR‘s newest offering “Land Of The Setting Sun” takes elements of melodic Death Metal, Bathory influenced Viking Metal, some Black Metal and traditional Folk music to create a wonderful fusion of sounds. The album soars from fiddle to fiddle, chants to chants, combining effortlessly with guitars, bass and fast drumming. Its real beauty lies in its depth, with the songs staying fresh and memorable every time you hear them. ISENMOR tells tales of battle, drink, sorrow, and adventure, drawing lyrical inspiration directly from the original sources preserved since the dark ages. Grab your helmets, swords, and prepare to man your dragon boats!

ISENMOR is a dual-violin fronted folk metal band from Baltimore, MD, USA. Combining elements of folk metal greats ENSIFERUM, HEIDEVOLK, ELUVEITIE, FALKENBACH, and TÝR, ISENMOR fuses the heart of the Old World with the spirit of those who sought out new shores, combining intricate violin passages with savage guitar riffs and multipart vocal harmonies.

ISENMORLand Of The Setting Sun” is available in CD format and in digital format on all major online music retailers and music streaming services, including but not limited to iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, Google Play, and Bandcamp.  CD versions of the EP include bonus material, including covers “Havoc” by ELUVEITIE and “In My Sword I Trust” by ENSIFERUM, as well as acoustic versions of “Pyre” and “So Willingly Deceived.”
