Hull’s finest announce new shows
Northern metal quintet SWORN AMONGST are pleased to reveal the details of their new single release and album title track ‘Under A Titan Sky’. The ‘Under A Titan Sky’ album is currently streaming on the Terrorizer website, with the new single appearing on the new issue cover-mount CD.
For fans of the incredible guitar intricacy and harmonies of Carcass, the bludgeoning low end and complex rhythms of After The Burial, coupled with the groove elements of Lamb Of God and the hooks and vocal prowess of Upon A Burning Body, SWORN AMONGST are not messing around with this new release.
The band have played at the prestigious UK festivals such as Download Festival and Bloodstock Open Air in the past, as well as numerous festivals all over Europe; they even made a 5000 mile round trip driving to the Ukraine, getting arrested several times and were even held at gun point. Their dedication to music is second to none and new album ‘Under A Titan Sky’ see’s the band taking a step into much heavier territories.
“We’ve left behind our tenuous thrash roots and have fused together a multitude of genres, creating a unique formula of our own with this album.” explains drummer Jonny Harper. ‘”Under A Titan Sky’ is armed to the teeth with ball crunching riffage and grooves, hypersonic solos, soaring vocals and bludgeoning bass lines!”
The band have just announced a UK tour alongside Belial in June and this summer they will make their debut appearance at both UK Tech Metal Fest and Mammothfest.
