| Today, STARBENDERS return with their boldest statement yet, The Beast Goes On; an album that fuses shimmering synth-rock, moody alt-pop, and raw, cinematic energy. To celebrate the album’s release, the band have shared a stunning, fiendish new music video for the title track. The Beast Goes On sees the band lean into vivid imagery and emotional themes with bold storytelling. Front woman Kimi Shelter often starts songs as raw skeletons and builds them into living pieces with the band; they embrace creative freedom over constraints and let songs evolve organically. With haunting hooks, infectious melodies, and lyrics that confront love, loss, and reinvention, STARBENDERS create a soundscape that’s both intimate and larger than life. This record isn’t just music, it’s a mood, a movement and a relentless ride that proves STARBENDERS continue to push boundaries and command attention.Stream / purchase The Beast Goes On here Watch the music video hereSpeaking about the album release, vocalist Kimi Shelter shares: “The Beast Goes On is a statement of resilience and devotion. It’s deeply personal because this full length marks the first official body of work introducing our drummer, Qi Wei. She brought a beautiful energy and fire into STARBENDERS, and that transformation is woven throughout the album.”Speaking about the new music video, she adds: “The music video for ‘The Beast Goes On’ is the work of Nashville based director Hannah Gray Hall. She’s amazing and we love working with her. To me, it’s about energetic exchange and the invocation of something bigger than yourself. It isn’t about sacrifice, it’s about transformation. The story lives in that space between beauty and the beast, and the idea that both exist inside us all” |
Later this year, STARBENDERS will return to the UK and Europe. They’ll be bringing their electric headline show to thirty-two cities across the continent, giving fans their first taste of the new album up close and personal.
Speaking about the tour announcement, vocalist Kimi Shelter comments:
“The United Kingdom has always felt like a second home to me. I have family roots there and feel that connection every time we land. It’s instinctive and deep. Some of our most powerful shows and favourite memories as a band have happened there. We are counting the days until we are back in the same room with you, sharing that electricity again. I have missed your beautiful faces.”
