FILMED DURING THEIR RECENT UK VISIT FOR THE LONG ROAD FESTIVAL
BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville’s Ryan and Rory have released the official music video for their high-energy anthem ‘Beer Wants Me’, filmed entirely during the duo’s recent trip to the UK for The Long Road Festival. Watch the video here.
Filmed across their whirlwind UK visit, the video captures Ryan and Rory embracing the full British experience – from arriving in the country and squeezing in some sightseeing, to raising a few pints in classic British pubs before taking the stage at The Long Road Festival. They also reunite with a pair of British fans they met earlier that day, who join them on stage for an Aussie-style shoey – the iconic Australian tradition of drinking from a shoe – adding an unexpected dose of Australian chaos to their UK festival set.
Released on August 28, ‘Beer Wants Me’ arrived just two days before Ryan and Rory took to The Long Road Festival’s Main Stage, before hosting the festival’s official after party later that evening. The track has quickly become a favourite with UK audiences, earning radio support from Absolute Radio Country, Smooth Country, BBC Radio 2 and CountryLine. Stream/download here.
Fueled by harmonica, roaring guitars and an irresistible singalong energy, ‘Beer Wants Me’ is tailor-made for tailgates, bonfires and nights that start with one drink and inevitably turn into something more. Built around the chain reaction that begins when the first tops are popped, the track captures the carefree spirit of letting loose after a long week – and the kind of nights that never quite go according to plan.
“‘Beer Wants Me’ is 2 minutes and 52 seconds of what it feels like to blow off steam after working like a dog all week,” says Ryan Follesé. “And it’s the perfect high-energy rager for our live shows.”
“Beer always has its own agenda,” adds Rory John Zak. “And it seems to always drag us into the best kind of trouble.”
That live energy was on full display at The Long Road Festival, where Rockshot Magazine described Ryan and Rory as “something of a dream to watch on stage”, adding that “there is simply something joyful about watching them.”
The duo’s latest UK visit follows their breakthrough C2C Festival appearance in March, where Entertainment Focus hailed their set as “one of the most iconic C2C side-stage performances ever.” Their growing connection with UK audiences has continued to build throughout 2026, with the pair also earning strong radio support and a reputation for bringing an infectious, anything-can-happen energy to every live performance.
Already named a SiriusXM Highway Find, Ryan and Rory continue to make their mark with a sound that combines modern country energy, soaring harmonies and timeless storytelling. Following their Grand Ole Opry debut and standout performances across the UK, the duo are gearing up for a series of new releases this fall.
With ‘Beer Wants Me’, Ryan and Rory offer a fitting snapshot of exactly what makes their live shows so much fun: good friends, cold beers, loud music and the kind of night you’ll probably be talking about the next morning.
