The Rasmus frontman Lauri Ylönen has teamed up with Blind Channel vocalists Niko Vilhelm and Joel Hokka for a special “Bedroom Sessions” cover of their viral hit “Dark Side“, which the band performed at Eurovision this year. Watch it here.
Joel Hokka from Blind Channel had this to say about the collaboration: “Lauri and The Rasmus are hands off – one of the most legendary Finnish rock exports. I remember as a kid watching those black feathers on TV and jammin’ Dead Letters. When Lauri called me and asked for a collab we couldn’t say no.”
“Dark Side” reached number one in Finland and earned Blind Channel 6th place at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021. Watch the video for the original version here.
