Honouring The Idiots

Brooklyn boys ready for Roadburn

Roadburn announced festival set times today in which they bestowed the coveted 4:20 pm time slot to Brooklyn’s highly revered Blind Idiot God. The band has not toured in Europe since the 1980s so this is reason to rejoice for many (not just cannabis enthusiasts). Before Ever After, co-produced by Bill Laswell (Herbie Hancock’s Future Shock, Mick Jagger, PiL, Motörhead, Ramones, Iggy Pop and Miles Davis) drops worldwide on April 8th. Raise The Titanic Tour launches on April 13th with stops in The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Norway.

Tim Wyskida shares exciting tour news explaining that the “Roadburn performance will include a video created by Heath Bradley. He’s taken Seldon Hunt’s Before, Ever, After album art and made sections of it move. This animation will be a delight for Dutch stoners.”
