Following on from a successful Summer including an appearance at the Isle of Wight Festival, London alt rockers Heel have released a fantastic new video for single ‘Shatter‘. The video was directed by Sikth frontman Mikee W Goodman, and the track is taken from the bands debut album ‘The Parts We Save‘, which was released earlier this year.
After the huge success of their last single, ‘Nothing New‘, which was named video of the week by Scuzz TV, ‘Shatter’ finds Heel showcasing a different side to their unique sound. Softer than some of their tracks, but no less engaging, ‘Shatter‘ is the perfect showcase for the vocals of Heel’s firecracker of a singer, Margarita. This is underpinned by the multi-tempo rhythmic wizardry from Nick behind the drum kit, aided in no small part by Dan and Fred on guitar and bass respectively
Want to know more about ‘Shatter? Heel comment:
“Shatter is one big metaphor for what it means to make music and release it. The song talks about struggling through a wall of apathy and continuing to give up all your secrets even though a part of you is scared you might not have any more to give.”
Heel are:
Margarita – Vocals
Dan – Guitar
