Turn up the Volumes
Scot doom merchants Headless Kross are playing a rare show in Glasgow this month.
They will no doubt shake 13th Note to its foundations on June 27th.
Frequently described as ‘psychedelic doom’, swirling phasers and repetitive pounding rhythms give way to downtuned heaviness in a way that is somehow both tight and loose at the same time.
Their recently released album “Volumes” is complex and extraordinary. It was reviewed here by MVM’s Andy.
