Friday Night’s Alright For Rocking

Show back on TV

Following on from the popular launch of the Friday Night Rock Show earlier this year, Vintage TV are delighted to announce its return this autumn. Season 1 part 2 starts on Friday October 7th, 10pm.

Vintage TV’s own take on The Friday Night Rock Show was inspired by the late, great, gravelly-voiced radio DJ Tommy Vance who kept it rock solid at the end of the week with the loud, the raw and the raucous. Vintage TV is thrilled to continue to uphold this fine broadcasting tradition.

Nicky Horne is back behind the helm for season two, putting his seasoned spin on proceedings. Nicky was jubilant to be part of the show’s launch earlier this year and is excited to be back.

Having presented shows on all major commercial radio stations throughout his illustrious career, as well as being the voice of the Classic Rock Magazine show since 2013, veteran broadcaster Nicky Horne is clearly the man for the job.

If it’s hard or heavy, soft or steady it’s in. Viewers can expect exclusive performances from heritage rock bands as well as, very importantly, a shop window to new, young rock bands who are taking classic rock music to the next generation and beyond.  See the schedule for October below, featuring Mott the Hoople, Buffalo Summer, Blue Pills, Monster Truck, Deep Purple, Delta Saints and Joanne Shaw Taylor, plus the late James Dio (in hologram form!)
