‘So Predictable’ is the latest single to be released from a forthcoming third solo album by the New York City based British singer-songwriter Coyle Girelli, who is originally from Leeds.
Girelli explains that “in a lot of ways this song is a kind of ode to Los Angeles. It’s a complicated town, filled with complicated people and I have a complicated relationship with it. I turned the grungy fuzz pedals on and the amplifiers up for it!”
Musically, ‘So Predictable’ has an anthemic yet sleazy rock vibe, with a lyric that references Mulholland Drive, the 405 Highway and would-be actresses signing up to the ‘Dream Division’, plus a chorus that oozes glamour, albeit with an empty feeling in the heart of its author.
Girelli will release a new album entitled ‘Museum Day’ in late 2023.
