Featured Release: Vorna: No Light Follows Me

Published:

The rising Finnish pagan metal orchestra Vorna will release their second full length album ”Ei valo minua seuraa” (”No Light Follows Me”) on 4.12.2015 through Inverse Records.

“Ei valo minua seuraa” is a rumbling piece of music which dishes out seven songs of first-rate, original and eclectic Finnish pagan metal. The album will take the listener on a journey to the depths of human mind full of profound soul landscapes and ancient folk lore. This epic, that has been weaved together with bottomless atmospheres and addictive melodies, shall undoubtedly take a hold on you for more than only one spin. Finnish pagan metal is going strong – “Ei valo minua seuraa” stands as a solid proof for that – and keeps pushing the borders of the genre even further.

”Ei valo minua seuraa” was recorded during May-June 2015. The album was mixed by Tuomas Kokko (e.g. Swallow the Sun, Ghost Brigade) from Electric Fox Studios in July and then in August mastered by Jaakko Viitalähde (e.g. Ghost Brigade, Black Crucifixion, Alghazanth) from Virtalähde Mastering. The cover arts have been designed by Jarno Lahti (e.g. Hypocrisy, Pain, Before the Dawn) from Kaamos Illustration & Design Studio.
