Barmy new video online now
Austrian finest Folk Thrash band DRESCHER is already widely known for creating something really extraordinary. A new kind of music, a new style, a new experience: Folk music in its most original way, real and honest. In-your-face lyrics recounting real life’s tales with good old Metal chords from the 90’s. Yes, it works & it fits so well that it becomes one at this slightly prophetic and programmatic band DRESCHER. Their critically acclaimed debut album Erntezeit was the start for the huge success of this remarkable Austrian band & they’ve now joined forces with Napalm Records!
To celebrate this great success the band has now unveiled a brand new music video for the world hit “Rock Me Amadeus” by mighty Falco. The band worked together with Sky van Hoff (Kreatror, The Sorrow, Caliban) at the Barracks Studios.
Bernd Wograndl and Gernot Engel, masterminds of DRESCHER, on the music video premiere:
“Rock me Amadeus takes place in Vienna and for all of you who knows us from our former videos („First Blood“ and „Dresch Quetschn“) know, we’re totally up for finding new paths and trying something completely new. This is like a mission, transferring an Austrian world hit into or own Thrash language! Enjoy!”
