I first met the Charismatic Davey Macmanus on a rainy night at The Toucan Club in Cardiff in 2003. The Crocketts and The Crimea frontman is now releasing a brand new single and autobiographical book entitled ‘The Bluster Boy’ via Rotten Poetry
‘The Bluster Boy’ Book and Single is released on the 23rd of August via Rotten Poetry and the accompanying album entitled ‘Even The Trees Know Karate’ will be a free download.
The launch night for ‘The Bluster Boy’ will be held at Bridge Street Book, Wicklow, Ireland on the 23.08 and the evening will be live streamed exclusively via God Is In The TV website. Tickets BridgeStreetBooks.ie
The book covers all the issues Davey has encountered over the years, such as Bullying, heroin addiction, theft from a hospital and getting fired as a nurse, and eating disorder which is unusual for a man to talk freely and frankly about. Then becoming a boxer, returning to full fitness and music.
