The Blinders have shared a stripped-down piano version of their new single ‘Mule Track‘, the latest track to be taken from their upcoming album Fantasies Of A Stay At Home Psychopath, out on July 17th via Modern Sky UK.
Evocative and atmospheric, the new version is a stark contrast to the single’s explosive volatility. Casting the track in a pensive and reflective light and highlighting its insightful lyricism – inspired by the painting of the same name in the Imperial War Museum and exploring the concept of heaven and hell – the video is a striking showcase of the band’s versatility.
‘Mule Track’ is the latest single to be taken from their upcoming album Fantasies Of A Stay At Home Psychopath, following previous singles ‘Lunatic (With A Loaded Gun)’, ’40 Days And 40 Nights’ and ‘Circle Song’, all of which have received extensive support from the likes of Steve Lamacq and Chris Hawkins at BBC 6Music, Huw Stephens and Jack Saunders at Radio 1, and John Kennedy at Radio X.
