Hailing from the North East of England (Durham) –  Mick Johnson AKA The Heartland Collective has just released his first ever single:  “I Just Don’t Know”.
He’s the founder and the drummer of the band and other members of “the collective” are from Durham and other parts of the UK, as well as Austria, Netherlands, Canada, The United States and even Ecuador.
I Just Don’t Know has been influenced by Sex Pistols, Foo Fighters and Tom Petty and is available on all major streaming and download platforms.
The video was shot on location on the brutal but beautiful Chemical Beach or Blast Beach at Seaham in the Durham heartland. The location was also used by Ridley Scott to illustrate an alien landscape in the film Alien 3. The music video is beautifully filmed by the amazing photographer/director Alex Telfer.
