William Clark Green is a Texas-born country/Americana singer-songwriter renowned for his raw, honest songwriting and electrifying live shows. All grit, all true and all out there, he has carved out a space for himself while staying true to his roots, building a reputation for delivering high-energy, unapologetic live shows that connect deeply with fans. His band is also as road-tested as they come and together they forge a sound that blends emotion and authenticity.

Green has just released a new album, ‘Watterson Hall’, his first new studio record since 2022 and seventh in all. Featuring some of the deepest, most personal songs of his career, it sees him embrace joy and resilience while retaining his signature wit.

Having spent almost two decades writing and performing, Green shares a new-found perspective in his life and career that permeates ‘Watterson Hall’. It opens a new creative chapter, one shaped by love, loss and life lessons learned through experience. As a husband and father who will shortly turn 40, he leans into reflection and a more expansive worldview.

“Another album, another chapter in my life’s story,” he muses. “This album is all about where I’m at in life, starting a family and continuing the good times (less real good times these days). If I could sum this record and my life up with one song, it would be ‘Stubborn and Remains’. I’m married to it and I ain’t going anywhere.”

‘Stubborn and Remains’ is the opening song on the new album and a video for it that contains footage from home movies of Green’s childhood, fans enjoying his concerts and behind the scenes moments can be seen HERE.

A recent single from the album entitled ‘Where The Wild Things Are’ reached no. 1 on the American Country Music Chart for two weeks, as well as no. 1 on the CDX Texas Traction Chart and Texas Country Music Chart. Green also made his second appearance on the Grand Ole Opry on 4th March, performing ‘Stubborn and Remains’ plus the songs ‘Man on the Moon’ and ‘Dear Life’ from the new album.

Green has just embarked on a 30 date US tour to promote ‘Watterson Hall’, the itinerary for which includes arena shows with fellow Texans Treaty Oak Revival.

Green is also a member of The Panhandlers alongside Josh Abbott, John Baumann and Cleto Cordero (of Flatland Cavalry).
