EDLO Records/Soundly Music and acclaimed Nashville-based singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Will Hoge are pleased to present “Good While It Lasted,” the latest single to be lifted from the Friday, April 12 release of Tenderhearted Boys, the Grammy-nominated artist’s 14th studio album. Following album singles “End of the World” and “I’d Be Lying,” “Good While It Lasted” was written with Hayes Carll years ago and is given another home here on Tenderhearted Boys. “‘Good While It Lasted’ is the oldest song on this album and Hayes put a version on his ‘Lovers and Leavers’ album, which I thought was great,” Hoge says. “I’ve always wanted to have a go at my own take on it and it seemed right at home here. I really feel the sentiment of loving something, and at the same time realizing it has had its season and it’s time to let that thing go.” Stream “Good While It Lasted” on YouTube HERE. Unapologetically contrarian — an insurgent of authenticity — Hoge takes the helm on Tenderhearted Boys where he breaks new ground by producing and playing every instrument himself. Each track unfolds as a chapter in Hoge’s sonic autobiography, exploring the beauty found in all the nuanced corners of modern life. Tenderhearted Boys is not just an album; it’s a journey into the uncharted territories of musical expression, where vulnerability meets rebellion, and every note carries the weight of the artist’s unfiltered soul.
