GRAMMY®Award-winning vocalist, songwriter, guitar legend, producer, and Gov’t Mulefront man Warren Haynes has released his new single “Day of Reckoning” featuring Lukas Nelson and Jamey Johnson, offering another taste of what’s to come from Haynes’s new solo album Million Voices WhisperCo-written with Nelson“Day of Reckoning” is a forceful call for change nodding to the rebellious late ’60s and early ’70s. Accompanying Warren on the collection are members of his current all-star band including John Medeski on keyboards, longtime drummer Terence Higgins (of the Dirty Dozen Brass Band) and Gov’t Mule bassist Kevin Scott. In addition to Nelson and Johnson, the album features guest appearances from his Allman Brothers Band compatriot Derek Trucks, whose unmistakable guitar sound toughs up three tracks on the album that were co-produced with Haynes.
