The Velveteers are redefining modern rock with a sound that is as ferocious as it is finely crafted. Hailing from Boulder, Colorado, the trio fuses blistering riffs, hypnotic melodies, and explosive dual-drum percussion into a visceral live experience that has quickly established them as one of the genre’s most compelling new voices.
Driving The Velveteers is the commanding presence of frontwoman Demi Demitro, a no-bullshit, five-foot-something spitfire with thunderous guitar riffs and soaring vocals, backed by her incendiary double drum duo. The band’s signature dual drum setup creates a thunderous foundation that propels their gritty, dynamic garage rock sound.
The band released their album A Million Knives last year via Easy Eye Sound, and have announced a run of UK and European live dates for early next year. The UK leg of the tour includes shows in Bristol, Manchester, Glasgow, Nottingham, London, Brighton and Margate, before the band heads across Europe for dates in France, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Switzerland and Italy.
