The 2016 third album, Hope, featured the hit single ‘Spirits’ and in 2017 they won the iHeartRadio Music award for ‘Best New Alternative Rock Artist of the Year’ and collected the JUNO Award for ‘Single of the Year’ ahead of Drake, The Weeknd and Shawn Mendes.
But with the upcoming Rattlesnake, they take a stylistic turn from their melancholy, introspective releases, to create an uplifting album with songs that focus more on optimism.
In the lead up to the album release the band will play SXSW next week, which includes the headline slot at Kobalt AWAL’s showcase on Wednesday night, before they head off on their European tour, which sees them play a sold out show at London’s Bush Hall on March 25th.
They will then continue with an extensive run of dates across the US, which kicks off on May 1st in Boston. The full list of tour dates can be seen here and you can connect with The Strumbellas online at: Website | Facebook | Twitter | Instagram
