Today, Birmingham-based alternative metallers STRAIGHT FOR THE SUN have released their new single and music video for ‘Pulling Teeth’. The track, which is the band’s first taste of new music in two years, arrives ahead of the quintets appearance at Bloodstock 2024.

On the new single, vocalist Callum Green comments:
“The song itself became a journey of self doubt. Being overwhelmed with pressure was getting the better of the band. However, by looking introspectively about how we make music, we were able to use that to inspire the lyrics and vibe of the song, which we think a lot of other people can relate to in regards to anything they are passionate about.”
STRAIGHT FOR THE SUN are thrilled to share they will be appearing at Bloodstock 2024 on the New Blood Stage on Sunday 11th August.

Latest single ‘Pulling Teeth’ is the band’s first taste of new music in two years, taking an introspective deepdive into self-doubt and the build up of pressure, whereas their previous single ‘Walk’ tackled the perils of binge-drinking and deep-rooted alcoholism.
