STAGGERING IN

Published:

Chicago’s The Blind Staggers, a party band that knows the morning after, pull from their roots of classic rock, country, and punk to create a sound that is truly their own. Singing sad songs wrapped in a solid rock ‘n’ roll riff is their speciality.

Their new album Doing Alright… Considering is set to release on February 28th, 2020 (pre-order now available here) via Seven Dead Arson Records. The songs “Used To Party” and “Once Or Twice” released as a cassette single, were recorded by Matt Allison at Atlas Studios (Alkaline Trio, Smoking Popes) with Mike Corcoran at Legendary Recorders (Deals Gone Bad) rounding out the rest of the record.

The powerful and soulful voice of Laura Wilburn and the gruff swagger of Damien Christian Wilburn has won over audiences nationwide. Lucky enough to be playing alongside their family, the rolling thunder wizardry of Laura’s brother Shrek on bass and Braden Selsback’s drums create the pulse of this rock ‘n’ roll machine, while Tony Lee (both Laura’s husband and Damien’s Brother) shines on lead guitar. Tony tours the world melting faces with the rock combo MF RUCKUS, and has brought his particular brand of guitar magic home on this record. The Blind Staggers have played shows with The Menzingers, Devil Makes Three, Murder by Death, The Lawrence Arms, and many more.
