LOATHE‘s latest record The Things They Believe was surprise dropped in February; an ambient soundtrack album accompanying a limited edition photobook by Mark Unthank. These projects were given impetus by the incredible response to 2020’s I Let It In And It Took Everything album. The Things They Believe extends the complex identity and timeline of I Let It In, via sonic landscapes and parallels that explore and expand the record further.
I Let It In And It Took Everything saw some of LOATHE‘s most esoteric and experimental moments to date; winding from unrelenting heaviness, to weighty post-metal and ethereal post-rock.
