Brighton based Geordie rockers, Sick Joy, have today released a brand new single, ‘Hypodermic Sunshine’, produced by Dom Craik of Nothing But Thieves. The track is the second new track from the trio since the release of last years debut album, ‘WE’RE ALL GONNA F***ING DIE’ on So Recordings (Placebo, Enter Shikari, Hundred Reasons).
“It’s kind of a messed up love song,” shares frontman Mykl Barton. “I’m just saying thank you to the people, the things that pull you out of the darkest corners or the lowest spots. Maybe that’s a person, maybe that’s a song, whatever you needed.”
‘Hypodermic Sunshine’ is released ahead of the band’s next run of UK dates, kicking off in Brighton on September 1st, before concluding on October 3rd in the capital. Full dates can be found below:
