Canada’s favourite rock’n’roll band The Sheepdogs kick off their summer European tour this week in Spain. Speaking while packing up all the gear, sorting the merch and trying to avoid the pitfalls of touring after Brexit bassist and manager Ryan Gullen comments: “We’re pleased to be making the trip back to Europe for this run of dates supporting our new album Outta Sight – these past couple of years have been a rollercoaster for anyone working in live music, but it’s just great to be finally getting back to play to all the fine people that love Rock and Roll Music in Europe.”
Like many bands returning to touring after the pandemic, the tour dates had to be rescheduled several times, but now it’s all happening – and it’s with excitement that The Sheepdogs will kick off their first European summer show in Spain tomorrow.
The Sheepdogs new album Outta Sight comes out June 3rd via Warner Music.
Outta Sight is the biggest, brightest, beer-swillingest, lighters lit in the cheap seats, non-bummer COVID stadium rock record to emerge from the pandemic blues. It’s got humour, it’s got chops, and it’s performed and recorded by five brothers from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan who are grateful to get together and play for rock fans.
