Screaming About Banshee

Renamed Scots on the comeback trail

Formerly known as ‘Life on Standby’, Alternative Electronic Rock 4 piece BANSHEE have relaunched for 2016 and are ready to take the world by an electric storm. After a successful performance at Download Festival facilitated by RedbullStudios and their affiliated label Redbull Records, and follow-up performances with the likes of Fearless Vampire Killersand Marmozets, BANSHEE decided that they wanted to start 2016 with a new name and some killer new music. Just as the title of their forthcoming EP tells- ‘Say My Name’ is representative of what they want their fans to do.

The band will be releasing their rockin’ EP on Friday 25th March 2016 and had this to say:“Our sound on this EP is more electronically based, leaning towards the synth sounds of PVRIS or Bring Me The Horizon with the riffs of Biffy Clyro accompanied by raw female vocals – we would like to think this EP is something that you can move around to”.

“We are absolutely delighted to be releasing our new EP with the title track ‘Say My Name’ as our first single. The EP has been fully written by ourselves and produced by Bruce Rintoul and Romesh Dodangoda with our artwork designed by Daniel Holub – the video for ‘Say My Name’ was also filmed by Andy Mills – We must give credit to these guys as they have been amazing!
We are thoroughly looking forward to everyone hearing this and we hope you all enjoy it.”
