Alternative Metal, ElectroPunk, Industrial Metal and just a few of the tags that have been levelled towards London based two-piece Calling All Astronauts, the band don’t feel it needs to be classified, “people either like our music or they don’t” said David B We are influenced by lots of great bands from Killing Joke To Pendulum, Ministry to Depeche Mode, we just write the best songs we can without a thought for where can people pigeonhole us”
In a world in which populist politicians claim they are representing the will of the people, while delivering abhorrent policies, CAA thought it was time to call them out, and say enough is enough, that bigotry, racism, nationalism, xenophobia have no place in modern society and wrote “Not In My Name”, this is the eleventh and final single to be taken from the third album #Resist, all eleven singles have been different versions to the album versions as the band have been working with double Grammy winner Alan Branch (NIN, Depeche mode, U2)
“Not In My Name” is accompanied by a video edited by AI an experiment by the band that seems to have turned out really well
Work is progressing nicely on their yet untitled fourth album which is expected later in the year.
