UK metallers announce final gigs

We’ve known for some time that London stoner riff metal masters Hang The Bastard were going to be hanging up the guitars at some time this year, having declared their intention to call it quits before their tour back in April.

The band can now confirm details of their last two shows – their last ever headline show and their final performance, full stop. Hang The Bastard’s last headline show will take place on Halloween (31st October) at London’s Kamio venue (formerly known as Red Gallery). The show will feature an impressive supporting cast including (OHHMS), Harrowed and Deadwound. Tickets for the show will cost a highly appropriate £6.66. Tickets can be purchased from Dice.FM.

This will be followed by their farewell performance on the main stage at this years’ Damnation Festival in Leeds on the 5th of November, which is being headlined this year by Electric Wizard, Cult Of Luna & Julie Christmas, Abbath and Enslaved, amongst others. Very limited tickets for Damnation Festival remain and can be obtained from the official festival website –

So come on down one last time and bang your head with Hang The Bastard. Anyone who does will be very happy they did.

Hang The Bastard’s most recent album Sex In The Seventh Circle is out now on Century Media Records.
