Rare tracks unearthed on this 3CD set

Sure to appeal not just to Sex Pistols completists but Punk collectors as well, this 3CD, 47-track round up of all studio recordings by The Professionals includes 7 previously unreleased BBC session tracks plus 9 unreleased studio demos, and comes with a 20-page booklet. Amongst this the release includes 4 ultra-rare tracks recorded withThe Clash’s Paul Simonon on bass and actor Ray Winstone on vocals, originally featured in the cult film ‘Ladies & Gentleman The Fabulous Stains’ as The Looters.

Furthermore two previously unissued tracks under the name Sham Pistols and featuring Sham 69 singer Jimmy Pursey on vocals are also included. The band’s entire album ‘I Didn’t See It Coming’ plus all of the scrapped The Professionals recordings complete the release. Includes the singles: 123, The Magnificent, Just Another Dream and Join The Professionals.

Original members Paul Cook, Ray McVeigh and Paul Myers teamed up with Tom Spencer for an intimate night at the 100 Clubon October 16, celebrating the music of the band. This will be the first time in over 30 years since Cook, McVeigh and Myers have been on stage together. The gig sold out within hours.
