Is a teenage dream worth all this loss?

This is the question alt-rock duo THEIA are asking in their upcoming track ‘I’m Plastic’, which is due to be released on 2nd June 2023. Following hot on the heels of their previous release ‘Everything’, ‘I’m Plastic‘ made its radio debut courtesy of BBC Introducing in the East Midlands on Saturday 20th May and garnered an amazing response from listeners!  With this release, THEIA continue to push against the boundaries set by genres; Frontman Kyle Lamley supplies chunky riffs and a catchy chorus while younger brother Ash provides powerful beats that keep you hooked, add in some electronic wizardry and THEIA hit you with a crunching track that is modern and relevant to the world in which we live. Keeping true to themselves, the lyrics are honest and heartfelt.

Talking about the track, Kyle says: “This one is for the fans. OUR fans. The incredible people who have trailed around the UK in all weathers to come and support us, time in and time out. We wanted to let them know how much we thrive on it, how important they have been to us over the years – but with the same cutting honesty people expect from THEIA. They know who we are, they know what we do; now we want to sing this song with them at a show.”

This is THEIA, expect the unexpected.

After announcing their reinvention last year with their EP ‘The Day‘, dynamic duo Kyle and Ash Lamley have continued to wow audiences the length and breadth of the country with their brand of modern alternative rock and energetic live performances, winning the hearts and minds of rock stalwarts and reaching new audiences along the way.
