Miss Vincent’s Christmas Stocking

Published:

Ok, there’s only one Christmas song that doesn’t suck ass. Here’s a new version of it.

Christmas is a time we all associate with food, drink, decorations and cheesy music (it says here – ED). Well this year, Southampton’s finest punk rockers Miss Vincent have put their own spin on it, with a fantastic festive cover of Mud classic ‘Lonely This Christmas’.

Miss Vincent comment:
“We decided to do a Christmas song on a whim. We were just sick of hearing the same old stuff year after year. We’ve always been curious to see what a Miss Vincent Christmas song would sound like, and we’re pretty stoked on how it came out.”

‘Lonely This Christmas’ was recorded at The Ranch, with the final track available as pay what you want download (so you could have it free). However Miss Vincent encourage everyone to donate something, as every penny we get will go straight to the Phyllis Tuckwell charity.

Vocalist Alex continues:
“I love Christmas, not just because you get to eat all the food and drink all the mulled wine, but also because of the spirit of giving and goodwill to all men. So, although ‘Lonely This Christmas’ can be downloaded for free, we will be donating any money we raise to Phyllis Tuckwell, which is a charity near us that cares for terminally ill people and their families. The work they do around Christmas time is incredible so we’re really happy to be involved with raising some funds for them.”

You can pick up the single, and donate to the Phyllis Tuckwell charity here.
