Dutch symphonic metallers MaYan are about to start the recording process for their 3rd, as yet untitled full-length album which is due in late 2018.
But before their fans are able to enjoy the new record, MaYaN will embark on a European run titled ‘Tour Of The Dragonhead’ during which they will be co-headlining with symphonic metallers LEAVES’ EYES – who will be touring in support of their latest album titled ‘Sign Of The Dragonhead’. As special guests, ALMANAC – led by Victor Smolski (ex-RAGE) – will be completing the touring line-up by performing songs off their sophomore record ‘Kingslayer’, which was released in 2017 via Nuclear Blast.

MaYaN‘s Mark Jansen stated:
“I’m looking forward to this co-headline Euro tour with LEAVES’ EYES! I’ve known these guys for many years now and we’ve often talked about touring together, but it just hasn’t happened until now. So, finally it’s going to happen! We are planning on playing 1 or 2 brand new songs on this tour. The awesome band ALMANAC will also join us. There’s a lot of activity going on around MaYaN at the moment, and at the end of January Ariën van Weesenbeek will start with the drum recordings for the new album! We have some great ideas in mind for this album – so stay tuned! We will release the album in September of this year and after that there will be more tours to come.
