High energy garage rock trio Märvel shares the new single and music video “One Common Enemy”. The single is the second one leading up to the band’s upcoming ninth album, which is set for release in 2022 as part of the band’s 20-year anniversary. “One Common Enemy” combines electric riffing and direct hooks into a powerful battle cry against everyone’s common enemy – aging and getting old.
The band comments the song:
“One Common Enemy is our take on getting older, losing touch with your friends, your passions and whatever used to make you happy. It’s a rallying cry meant to wake ourselves and others up from the comfortable golden slumber we enjoy as everyday clerks. It will probably be a painful awakening but it will be worth it!”
“One Common Enemy” is released as a digital single on October 22 via The Sign Records. The single is released with a music video. As a part of the band’s 20-year anniversary, Märvel is also re-releasing their 2005 debut album “Five Smell City”. The album out now on all streaming platforms and CD, and soon available on vinyl.
