West coast based raucous rockers LOWLIVES have released a digital deluxe version of their current studio album, Freaking Out, featuring 6 unreleased songs, including new single, ‘Better Off Alone.’
Lowlives drummer, Luke Johnson, offers: “‘Better off Alone’ is about relationships where you feel like you’re not good enough for the other person.
Sometimes, we enter into relationships believing that the key to our own happiness lies in someone else, which is never true.
Misery will always find you if haven’t done the necessary work on yourself beforehand. And it will take a toll on the relationship—often leading to a lack of trust in the other person.
At that point, you’re just better off alone.”

ABOUT LOWLIVES
LOWLIVES isn’t so much about carefully stoking the embers as pouring on gasoline with merry impetuosity. With vocalist Lee Downer and drummer Luke Johnson joined by guitarist Jaxon Moore and bassist Steve Lucarelli, the nascent band was founded on a shared love of ’90s alternative and grunge, and a shared desire to make music once more for little more than the love of doing so.
