New video from live gig
London-based psychedelic octet Knifeworld released their third studio album ‘Bottled Out Of Eden’ earlier this year, and to celebrate its release they played a packed out show at London’s ornate Bush Hall venue. Now the band have launched the first in a series of live clips filmed on that night, that give you an insight into the Knifeworld live experience. Check out the clip for ‘I Must Set Fire To Your Portrait’ here.
Knifeworld have also announced a special one-off, acoustic show in January alongside one of Kavus’ other projects, Admirals Hard. The gig takes place at The Islington in London on the 14th January 2017. Tickets available here: http://www.wegottickets.com/event/379702
Kavus had this to say about the video: “The last tour felt, in a lot of ways, like the coming together of everything we’ve been doing in Knifeworld since we became an eight piece. Some of the songs have really evolved since they were first recorded and sound so much more exciting now. The Bush Hall concert felt like such a magical show and I’m so glad we captured it.”
‘Bottled Out Of Eden’ received much acclaim upon release, seeing them perform live in session on Marc Riley’s show on BBC 6 Music as well as nominated in two categories at the Progressive Music Awards 2016.
