Essex boys reveal new song
After a full year and a half off the scene preceded by lengthy touring, the now three-piece UK Rock Band return their new single “Glory Days” (Released August 15th) – the first single from their long awaited debut LP, coming November.
King Canute formed on the mean streets of Harlow, Essex – where you either join a gang or join a band, After touring since early 2012 as a two-piece, Bassist/Singer Jon Lett and Drummer Chris Woollams recruited Guitarist Lee Royston to make the loud louder.
“Glory Days” is a no noise stomping rock number reminiscent of a punkier Queens of the Stone Age, a punchier Foo Fighters, and a more melodic Bring Me The Horizon. With its swirling etherial guitars which break into a heavy grooving track, “Glory Days” is punctuated with Jon Lett’s scathing vocals – telling the story of feeling lost in life, something we can all relate to at one point or another.
