Swedish guitarist & vocalist Kee Marcello has added a seventh Show to his October Scaling up tour. The new show is at the Queens Hall, Nuneaton on Friday 19th October. Marcello is best known for his years with multi-platinum selling band EUROPE, whose mega-hit The Final Countdown went to number 1 in 25 countries.
These dates form part of Marcellos Scaling Up tour, which supports his latest album of the same name, and marks his return to the Melodic Hard Rock genre. Fans of Europe will be familiar with Le Baron Boys, a pseudonym Europe used during a now legendary time when the band were working on follow up material to their hit album Out Of This World and Kee will perform material from this era on the tour, some of which also features on his latest album
Kees latest release, Scaling Up, represents his vision of the path he and Europe would have gone down if they had continued with the Le Baron Boys material.
This year also marks the 30th Anniversary of Europe’s Out Of This World album and to celebrate this Kee and the band will be performing a selection of songs from the album, some of which haven’t been performed live since Europe’s OOTW tour back in 1988.
This is a must-see tour for fans of Europe and melodic hard rock!
The Kee Marcello Band includes long-time collaborator Ken Sandin (Alien, Joe lyn-turner, Rock Legends, Eric Martin) and Tim Brown (Don Airey, Martin Turners Wishbone Ash, Aynsley Lister).

Kee Marcello is one of the most renowned guitarists to come out of Scandinavia with an amazing track record. From the hugely successful Swedish glam / pop group Noise in the early 80’s through to the first U.S. major label deal ever signed by a Scandinavian group: Easy Action (Warner Bros) and then on to multimillion selling success with one Swedens biggest music exports: Europe. In the late 80’s and early 90’s Europe sold over 30 million albums and had number 1 singles in 26 countries as well as sharing the stage with acts such as Metallica, Def Leppard and Bon Jovi.
The last few years have been both varied and intense for Kee Marcello with projects such as the release of a top selling autobiography The Rock Star God Forgot, releasing a DVD – Live From The Third Rock; a hugely successful lead role in a top selling Swedish version of Broadway musical Rock of Ages, and induction into the Swedish Music Hall of Fame.
The Latest album from The Kee Marcello Band Scaling Up is available now on the Frontiers srl label and is Kee’s fifth solo album. There are also imminent plans for the release of a new live album.
