On tour with Thunder right now, other side of the world last week – all in the life of Britain’s finest blues band
King King were a revelation at the Mahindra Blues Festival in Mumbai last night where organisers described their set as ‘incendiary and absolutely killing it”. Comments from the crowd included “a shredding Scotsman schooled me in the blues”
The band are pictured at the Press Call with Joss Stone, Keb Mo, Malina Moye and the Heritage Blues Orchestra.
King King frontman Alan Nimmo told The Times of India: “We’ve toured all over Europe but India was a world apart. I’m looking at shanty towns dwarfed by skyscrapers. I feel almost guilty sitting in this hotel, I want to go out and help. Its certainly a musical inspiration”.
The band head straight from the airport out on tour with Thunder this week – don’t miss this fantastic bill of UK rock!
