Rugby rockers get festival shot

Having been previously chosen to play with Fort Hope, Mallory Knox, We Are The Ocean, The Subways, Lonely The Brave, Hawthorne Heights and Yashin, Rugby rockers Go Primitive are hungry for more and have just been announced to play the legendary Glastonbury Festival!

Guitarist Dan has this to say-
“I think this is the most excited we have ever been to play a show! And that’s a bold statement as we are always excited to play a show! When we got the news we were playing at Glastonbury we couldn’t believe it! Shock was the first thing we felt. We got the email through and we all read it and re read it 5 or 6 times to makes sure it wasn’t some faux festival or a hoax haha! Once it hit home it was the real Glastonbury we were so hyped!

I can’t put in to words what it means to us to play there! Years and years of hard work are starting to pay off! Its such a huge honour it is for us to play this amazing festival! This is also our first time playing a major festival,  so it may as well make it the biggest in the world right?!”

However this is not the first time one member of the band has performed at the legendary Glastonbury Festival, as Dan explains-

“Although this is the first festival appearance for Go Primitive this will not be the first time for our front man Tomm. He played at Glastonbury a few years back. He graced the stage in front of thousands of people in a furry suit playing guitar as…  A womble!!

We would like to thank Brody Swain and Hannah Tobin at BBC Introducing in Coventry and Warwickshire for their support too, with out them we wouldn’t be playing the biggest festival in the world!”

Go Primitive’s most recent single ‘In A Band’ has received stellar airplay up and down the country on shows such as BBC Introducing as well as a heavy rotation on Scuzz TV.

If you can’t make it to Glastonbury never fear, because Go Primitive are also heading out to play 4 shows with VEXXES and With Ghosts. Catch the band at the below dates-
21.06.16 Nambucca, London
22.06.16 Hope & Ruin, Brighton
23.06.16 The Vic, Swindon
24.06.16 Zephyr Lounge, Leamington Spa
