The Finnish crossover act that could be metal’s Sonny and Cher
Passion Of Our Souls was formed 2014 when Julia Mattila and Samuli Tuomas Mäkelä met each other and began to carry out together their passion of music. In fact the duo are quite clear about it: That’s where the band gets their name “The Passion Of Our Souls”.
The band – consist of Julia Mattila (harsh and clean vocals) and Samuli Tuomas Mäkelä (All instruments).
The couple has composed, recorded, written and everything related to the project together.
The band explains their intentions to us: “The Passion Of Our Souls music has low female growls and clean voice,” they say. “And having a heavy sounds connecting melodic death metal with pop-style choruses which makes it recognizable.”
In March 3rd 2015, the band will release their first EP called ‘Soulmates’, which will include four Melodic Death Metal tracks with pop-style choruses.
‘Soulmates’ EP will be available via all Major Digital distributors worldwide.
