Aussie extreme metal band, making waves back home
Formed in early 2014, Australia’s five-piece group ANAVAR take influences from deathcore, death metal and melodic death metal to bring forth an aggressive sound mixed with melody and groove.
Later that year, they released their first studio recording, an EP titled “I, Dominus”, that not only garnered some positive reactions in Australia’s underground scene but also allowed them to play live and open up for well-known bands like Chelsea Grin.
The band is now very excited to unveil their first music video for a brand new track titled “Cataclysm” to be featured on their yet-untitled debut full-length. The video was filmed and edited by Split Mask Media and features CJ McMahon of Thy Art Is Murder on guest vocals.
