Marillion have today released a new song “Fantastic Place” and accompanying video from their forthcoming album “With Friends From The Orchestra”, out November 29th on earMUSIC. The track comes in the midst of a national UK tour on which the band is introducing re-imagined versions of some of their most beloved songs.
Recorded at The Racket Club and Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios, and with a running time of almost 80 minutes, “With Friends From The Orchestra” features nine classic Marillion tracks re-imagined and accompanied by the In Praise Of Folly String Quartet with Sam Morris (French Horn) and Emma Halnan (Flute).
“With Friends From The Orchestra” is going to be released on earMUSIC as CD Digipak, 2LP Gatefold (180g), Limited & Coloured 2LP and Digital on November 29th, 2019.
Marillion are currently working on their next studio album, the follow-up to the critically acclaimed and chart topping “F*** Everyone And Run (F E A R)”.
From November 1st onwards, Marillion accompany the release of “With Friends From The Orchestra” on their November-December European tour.
