Sweden’s SOLENCE have released the video for their stomping new single ‘Brothers’, the title-track from their recently released debut album. For fans of Bring Me The Horizon, I Prevail and Holding Absence, ‘Brothers’ is an electrifying song with a soaring chorus which sees SOLENCE blend electro-rock, metal and post-hardcore in their own distinctive way. The track has already received impressive support and following its release, the band were championed as Alex Baker‘s ‘Featured Artist Of The Week’ for the third time on Kerrang! Radio.

The debut album title Brothers felt natural to SOLENCE, who have spent eight years growing up together, learning not only how to make music as a unit but also how to respect and treat each other, and despite facing many trials and errors along the way the quartet have developed a solid bond.
SOLENCE have hit over 23 million streams across all digital platforms, with 346,000 monthly listeners on Spotify – having featured on official Spotify playlists (New Core, New Metal Tracks, New Blood, Release Radar, Radio, Discover Weekly) – and 73,500 YouTube subscribers, all the more impressive for a band who have a strong DIY ethic and write, produce, mix and release all of their music independently.
‘Heaven’, the second single from the album, has seen huge success: the band were championed as the cover for Spotify’s New Core playlist and featured as the first track on the playlist, which has 370,000 followers, and the track has since had 1.7 million Spotify streams (averaging at around 10,000 streams per day), as well as 300,000 YouTube views to date. Following singles ‘Empire Of The Sun’ and ‘Death Do Us Part’ were also featured in official Spotify playlists, where they reached over 500,000 followers.
Ahead of their debut album, SOLENCE spent two years releasing cover songs, including ‘Warriors’ by Imagine Dragons and Ed Sheeran hit ‘Shape Of You’, which built their strong fan base and set the foundations for a series of original singles and now their debut album. The momentum built from the single releases saw the band embark on a month-long European tour throughout Germany, Switzerland, Czech Republic, the Netherlands and Italy.
