The US sextet Electric Six are best known for their Top 5 hits ‘Danger! High Voltage’ and ‘Gay Bar’ from the early 2000’s, but they have retained a huge fan base and gained many new followers via regular tours ever since. For years the band have gone against the norm, constantly experimenting with different styles and performing eclectic live sets of exuberant and captivating music, while frontman Dick Valentine has proved himself a charismatic compere/master of ceremonies.
Sporting musical influences that range from garage rock to disco and new romantic to nu-metal, Electric Six are one of the most original live acts on the circuit. This late summer tour is the band’s second visit to the UK in 2018 to promote their current album, ‘How Dare You’ (their 13th release), and it includes a number of intimate regional shows.
